1st Annual International Club Challenge hits Paradise Coast as the Copperheads battle the Wombats

Naples, Fla. (September 9, 2022) — On Friday, September 9, the Copperheads Rugby

League Football Club (RLFC) will host the Coogee Randwick Wombats, an Australian rugby

league football team, in the International Club Challenge.


The International Club Challenge will be played on the Copperheads’ home field at Paradise

Coast Sports Complex, 3565 City Gate Blvd. South in Naples.


Our visitors hail from Coogee, New South Wales, and Randwick, New South Wales (a suburb of south-central Sydney), the Wombats play in the New South Wales Rugby League (NWSRL) Competition.

Fans are urged to wear white after Labor Day in support of the Copperheads. If you don't have a good white shirt, 50 Limited Edition Commemorative dryfit shirts will be available for purchase at the gate for $20 for the whiteout event. The designs will also serve to pay homage to our top five sponsors this season so arrive early to secure your favorite.


By wearing white you'll get $2 OFF Corona ($4) at The Stadium plus The Cove at the post-game rugby social where you will meet the players, get autographs, and be entertained by a Live DJ for Latin Nights.


Gates open at 6:00p.m. EDT with kickoff at 7:00p.m. with the rugby social starting at 9:00p.m. EDT.

Kids under age 12 are FREE. General Admission is $10, reserved seating is $20, and the Party Deck Suite add-on is an additional $40 ticket upgrade per person, allowing fans access to the air-conditioned suite, its buffet, and cash bar access for the duration of the event. The VIP food and beverage experience on the party deck includes drink specials including four-dollar Coronas ($2-OFF) if wearing white, a full selection at the private bar, and a buffet to include a taco bar with various accouterments.
