First Annual Naples 9s Tournament At New Paradise Coast Sports Complex

Naples, FL - First Annual Naples 9s Rugby League Tournament at the new Paradise Coast Sports Complex.

The first Annual Naples 9s Rugby League Tournament is set to take place May 14th, 2022 at the Stadium in the brand new Paradise Coast Sports Complex in Naples. It will be a day filled with excitement, sports, sun and fun in Southwest Florida!

Over 200 Athletes are expected to participate in this inaugural multinational event! Witness these athletes that are competing are coming from all over the USA and Jamaica!

Twelve Teams are registered for the Rugby League Nines tournament, Eight of which are competing in the Men's Open Bracket and another Four Teams are going to compete in the Women's Open Bracket.

The tournament will feature a total of Twenty-Five matches 20-Minute

minutes in length which will be played over a minimum of 9 hours with the first match kicking off at 8 AM sharp.

Time of Events:

Friday, May 13th, 2022 (6PM to 8PM) at Paradise Sports Complex (Practice Field)

USARL 9s Basic Skills Session, Led by Sean Rutgerson, US Men's National Team Coach, Former Australian NRL and UK Super League Player.

*Mandatory attendance for Individual Players wanting to play for the USARL Exiles team.

Saturday, May 14th, 2022 (8 AM to 8 PM) at Paradise Sports Complex (Stadium)

The Tournament begins and the First match kicks off and Pool Play Begins!

Saturday, May 14th, 2022 (4 PM to 7 PM) at Paradise Sports Complex (Stadium)

The Men’s Final 4 and the Women’s Championship Round will be played! This will be

the highlight of the Tournament and watch the most competitive rugby league found in the country. 

Saturday, May 14th, 2022 (7 PM to 10 PM) at Paradise Sports Complex (The Cove)

Stay after the finals for the rugby social, also known as an after party. This will complete the day’s festivities, rub shoulders with VIPs from the business community meet and greet with some of the Days featured players, coaches, trainers and organizers!


Tickets can be purchased through the Copperhead’s website by clicking through on the schedule and selecting the Naples 9s Tournament.

General Admission is $10, and Reserved Seating is $20. Additional Party Deck Suite Access is available $40 in advance (or $50 Day Of) which features indoor/outdoor seating and a food and beverage package.

Purchasers of this ticket will have access to the party deck to watch the action which includes access to an air conditioned suite with views of the field featuring lounge seating, food buffet and on suite bathroom facilities. There will also be a private cash bar available for those purchasing this package.

$7 + tax - Crafts & Premixed Drinks

$5 + tax - Domestics & Ciders

$3 + tax - NA Beverages

Also available are Private Suites which would include a stocked soft drink beverage fridge, access to the food buffet, and Cash Bar service to the suite. Standard Box sizes hold up to 10 people with an Executive suite that can host a party up to 25 people. Please inquire for pricing.
